How to Make Perfect, Easy to Peel Boiled Eggs EVERY Time!

There’s only two simple steps and you won’t need any fancy equipment at all.

Step 1: Boiling
Take a pot, fill it with water and put it on to boil. You’ll want to make sure that you have a pot that’s big enough for the amount of eggs you’ll be cooking and to have water flow freely around them. As soon as the water is boiling, carefully lower the eggs into the pot one by one using a spoon. Set a timer for 12 minutes and put the heat down to a simmer. If you want to make getting the eggs out of their shells a little easier, you can also add a teaspoon of baking soda to the boiling water!

Step 2: Cooling
When your timer goes off after 12 minutes, take the pot off the heat and drain the hot water out of it in the sink. Then, run cold water over the eggs until you can feel the egg shells are cold to the touch. Dry them with a tea towel, and that’s all there is to it. You’ll be eating eggs before you know it! You can also keep them in the fridge for up to one week.
